Bettina
Devin is best known for her role as “Maureen’s clueless Mom” in the
film version of“Rent”. This year she can be seen in
principal and lead film roles in the Hitchcockian thriller,"The
Confessional", “The Full Picture” (Grand Prize Winner,
Rhode Island International Film Festival), and in 2 separate roles
in "The Village Barbershop, starring John
Ratzenberger (“Cheers”, Cars”, Toy Story”). Other notable roles
include the lead in “Little Secrets”,“Grease II” and
major network sitcoms. "Film Noir", an animated
feature for which she voiced 6 characters, including the leading female
character, premiered last year at Cannes. An extremely versatile
entertainer, Bettina is also an accomplished singer (whose jazz CD
"Dangerous Type" continues to be played across the U.S.), a Voiceover
Artist (Disney/Pixar, MGM), and critically acclaimed stage performer,
who has been a Guest Artist with the San Francisco Symphony and David
Mirisch Productions.
She
has been a Celebrity Guest Coach for Grammy Career Day, a Voice and
Acting teacher for over 30 years, and has worked with many well-known
performers.
In
her classes, Bettina teaches technique for all of the above
disciplines. Students record and shoot actual T.V., film, and
radio scripts. Bettina also produces demo reels for On-camera and
Voiceover, essential tools for today’s serious professional actor.
